How far a 3.12 oz tube actually goes
Sunscreen only protects you at the dose it was tested at, so this is worth being precise about rather than vague. A full-body application is roughly one ounce of a standard lotion — but a balm-to-oil gelée melts on contact and spreads much further, so you reach the same coverage with noticeably less product. In practice one tube covers around six to eight full-body applications, or a long weekend of reapplying every two hours.
It ships in a lined metal tube rather than a plastic bottle, made in the USA in small batches, and formulated and tested to meet FDA over-the-counter sunscreen requirements for broad-spectrum SPF 30 and 80-minute water resistance. How to use
Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours, and after swimming, towel-drying, or sweating. Sunscreen isn't the whole story — limit time in the sun, especially 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and cover up when you've had enough.

Active ingredients: Homosalate 10.00% (sunscreen), Octisalate 5.00% (sunscreen), Octocrylene 5.00% (sunscreen).
Uses: Helps prevent sunburn. If used as directed with other sun protection measures, decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun.
Inactive ingredients: Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), skin-conditioning oils, Iron Oxides. Full ingredient list is printed on the carton and tube.
